Menstrual Health Project
The Sarathi Social Foundation, aims to address the critical gaps in menstrual health by implementing a comprehensive initiative in Pune and surrounding urban slums. This initiative focuses on raising awareness, providing affordable sanitary products, promoting hygiene practices, and offering emotional support for women and girls.
Sanitary Napkins Manufacturing Unit-Sarathi Social Foundation has an established sanitary napkin manufacturing unit in Pune equipped with a production machine, high-quality raw materials, and a disposal system.
Project Objectives:
- To improve menstrual health awareness by organizing educational sessions and ensuring access to affordable sanitary products for adolescent girls and women in marginalized communities.
- To reduce anemia prevalence by conducting regular screenings, offering nutritional counseling, and providing targeted interventions for women aged 15-50.

Anemia Reduction Project:
The primary objective of an anemia reduction project is to reduce the prevalence and severity of anemia within a target population through a combination of health education, nutritional intervention, and healthcare access improvement .Anemia is a widespread health issue, particularly among women in low-income areas, where it is often linked to nutritional deficiencies and poor access to healthcare. Left unaddressed, anemia can lead to fatigue, reduced productivity, complications during pregnancy, and long-term health issues. The lack of regular screenings, nutritional education, and accessible healthcare services exacerbates the problem, making it crucial to intervene
